Ahead of the of the senatorial primaries of the All Progressives Congress slated for October 2, Senator Mustapha Sani Mohammed of Niger South (Zone ‘A’) kick-started his campaign on Saturday in Mokwa Local Government Area. Sunday was the turn of Edati. Yesterday (Monday) he was in Lapai LGA.
Arriving in Lapai town, the lawmaker called at the residences of some of the town’s leaders, including the Mayaki and the Chief Imam.
The call, according to him, was a homage to the leaders.
He then proceeded to the packed secretariat of the APC in the LGA to meet with the party’s officials, members and stakeholders.
Speaking at the meeting, he detailed his achievements in the LGA, stating that he had provided headway in the areas of rendering access to potable water, healthcare and power, for which he provided transformers.
In view of the fact that no lawmaker in the history of the zone had more tactile project than him in barely three years in office, he sought for the support of LGA in the upcoming prmaries.
Another term, he said, would enable him to continue rendering life-touching projects, as he had been doing.
Another term, he added, would drive to fruition the sterling developmental plans currently in his kitty.
Responding, stakeholders who spoke at the meeting commended the lawmaker for his numerous projects in the LGA and assured him of their votes.
They also listed some of the challenges they are facing in the LGA, and the senator promised to take them forward.
After the meeting, the senator proceeded to Azza zone, where the meeting was replicated.
During the journey, he visited some gully-ravaged areas and some broken bridges, assuring the people that he solutions would be provided soonest.
