The Chief of Staff to Niger State Governor, Hon Mikail Al-Amin Bmitosahi has advised the newly promoted police officers to be confidential, committed and loyal in the discharge of their duties.
Bmitosahi gave the advice when he decorated some offiicers of the Nigeria Police Force at the Government House in Minna, the state capital.
The Chief of Staff who charged the newly promoted officers to ensured secrecy and diligence in the course of their duty also called on them to work harder as their new ranks would require more responsibilities from them.
” Your promotion demands extra work from you. I hope your shoulders can carry your new rank.I therefore urged you to work harder because the expectation of people from you will be high.”
“Remember that one of your attributes as police officers is secrecy. Ensure you do not divulge information that are meant to be de confidential. Let secrecy be your watch word “.
He then prayed for God’s continous guidance and protection as they continue in the discharge of their duties.
Earlier in his remarks, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adamu Usman also advised the newly promoted officers to ensure absolute secrecy as they are occupying very sensitive posts.
He also charged them on loyalty and commitment and to see their promotion as a call for more work.
High point of the event was the decoration of the promoted officers by the Chief of Staff to Niger State Governor and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command.
