MARARRABAN DANDAUDU CENTER PRESENTED LANGUAGE DAY

The Niger State Teacher Professional Development Center, Mararraban Dandaudu had presented her annual first edition Language Day celebration held at the school hall.

The Language Day which was organized by the center’s department of Languages was staged to showcase Debate, Talk show, Drama and Cultural exhibition by the students.

During the Language Day talk show segment which feature the Chairperson, Niger State Teacher Professional Development Institute Implementation Committee, Hajiya Dije Jibrin Bala, mni, MFR, stated that the students in the center where chosen from the 274 wards of the state using the best standard selection procedure.

She however confirmed that the students will be mentored to proceed to either colleges of Education or Universities were they can study Education and go back to their wards as professional teachers.

She said the state government under the present administration is doing everything possible towards the actualization of the set objectives, the Chairperson finally prayed that the students should be able to pass out with flying colours.

Other participating schools during the Language Day are Maryam Babangida Girls Science College, Bosso Secondary School and Federal Government Science and Technical College Kuta were prizes and certificate where presented.

The winner of the debate segment was Mararraban Dandaudu Center with the topic “School Feeding Program Had increased the enrolment of Pupils into schools in the state” which the students of the center opposed.
