Abductors of Taraba royal father demands N50 million ransom

Abductors of chief of Sansani chiefdom in Gassol local government area of Taraba state have demanded N50million ransom.

A member of the chief family, Mallam Yakubu Sansani told Daily Trust that the abductor had contacted them through the telephone of the chief and put forward a demand of N50million ransom.

He said negotiation was still going on between them and the abductors adding that the family had offered to pay N3.5million but the abductors rejected.

Mallam Abdulmudallabi Nuhu, a third class chief was abducted by unknown gunmen along Jalingo – Mutum Biyu three days ago.

It could be recalled that the District head of Mayo Selbe in Gashaka local government area of the state killed three kidnappers when they attempted to abduct him midnight in his palace two months ago.
