The Niger State House of Assembly, has called on the Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development, as a matter of State importance to furnish the legislature with the inventory of ongoing roads project in the State.

The State House of Assembly summoned the commissioner of works, Mamman Musa to appear in a plenary to answer and highlights the State Government progress on Infrastructural development.

Responding, the State Commissioner of Works Mamman Musa during the plenary said “I received the communication late and only know of it now”. “I have respect for the Legislature and this House made me to cancel my schedules and assignment to appear before you”.

The commissioner further stated that “I need time to prepare and come up with holistic data”. “it would be unfair for me to present half progress report without cross checking details of projects done by present administration”.

However, the House has passed a motion for two weeks for the Commissioner to present his progress report to the Legislature, which he is expected to appear on 7th of December 2021.
