NATIONAL COUNCIL ON WORKS: Niger State has arrived the venue and have registered for the commencement of the 27th session

The 27th National Council on Works, has commenced in earnest, as delegates from the 36 States of the Federation including FCT, has arrived and started registration.

As of the time of filling this report, Niger State has arrived the venue and have registered for the commencement of the 27th session. The first session is the opening ceremony, where the edition will be invoke to commence, by highlighting the theme: infrastructure delivery, the maintenance economy and national prosperity.

Expressing his views during the commencement, Niger State Director of Civil Engineering, Ahmed Musa Tanko, stated that, unless the State Government will pursue a rigorous special purpose intervention from the Presidency to address the Federal Roads dilapidation in the State.

The State Director of Civil Engineering, propounded that, the State should sit up and face the Federal might towards completing all existing Federal roads already near finishing, he said the State most approach the issues in a holistic manner, as part of infrastructure delivery in the State. Ahmed Musa Tanko, stressed out that, the special purpose presidential intervention will greatly maintain the State economy for prosperity.
