Commissioner Reaffirms Governor Sani Bello’s Commitment to Improving Ease of Doing Business

The Ongoing New Madallah Market Construction in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State when completed will open a massive window of economic opportunities, reduce unemployment and add value to the State’s IGR.

The Commissioner of Investment, Commerce and Industry, Dr. Mustapha Jibril made the disposition when he supervised the level of work at Madallah Market, adding that, the Governor Sani Bello led administration remain committed to Improving ease of doing business in the State.

He further noted that the construction of the Market was in line with the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s commitment to ensuring that the massive investment opportunities are adequately utilized.

“Our government is open to corporate organization, individuals and private organisations who share same economic and industrialization ideologies for the good of Niger State and Nigerlites”he said.

The project which is in form of a Public Private Partnership, PPP between Niger State Government and Dodo Project Consultant Limited is built on a 27 hectares of land ; to accommodate 142 blocks of Lock-Up Shops totaling 2,652 Units of different sizes and 34 blocks of Open Stalls with a total of 533 Units in different sizes.

While on tour of the site with the Honorable Commissioner, the Project Manager, Architect Umar Jamaare and the Company’s Chairman, Qs Ibrahim Dodo informed him that, the project has in it ; 11 blocks of Warehouses with a total of 114 units, 5 blocks of coldrooms with a total of 50 units, 4 blocks of restaurants with a total of 8 units, 5 toilet blocks and 2 banks.

Other facilities include : an Administration block, Police station, Fire service, Clinic, a Masjid, a modern Abattoir and a 900 capacity Parking-lot. The market project is in phases ; The first phase is 40 blocks for the Madallah Thursday weekly market sheds with a total of 800 units.
