Niger State government has relax it’s daily curfew to between 2pm to 10pm with effect from 5th April, 2020.
The Secretary to the state government and Chairman Taskforce on COVID-19 Ibrahim Ahmed Matane disclosed this at a press briefing heid in Minna.
It could be recalled that Niger State government last month put in place measures all geared towards curtailing and curbing the spread of COVID-19 across the state
The SSG who is also the Chairman Taskforce on COVID-19 Ibrahim Ahmed Matane disclosed that Markets will be open from between 8am to 2pm to enable people buy food stuffs and other essentials.
He further explained that Civil servants on grade level 1-12 earlier directed to stay at home as part of measures taken to curb the spread of COVID-19 are now to resume work on Monday 6th April, 2020 from 8am to 2pm.
The SSG also disclosed that Juma’at prayers and Sunday services suspended for two weeks are allow to resume religious obligations but with strict measures.
The state Taskforce on COVID-19 dwelt on other measures put in place and applauded the people of the state for their continued support and cooperation.
