NGSG FELICITATES WITH THE FORMER CHIEF JUDGE OF NIGER ON THE CONFERMENT OF SIR AHMADU BELLO HONOURS AWARD

The Niger State Government has felicitated with the former Chief Judge of Niger State, Justice Fati Lami Abubakar on the conferment of Sir Ahmadu Bello Honours Award by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF).

A statement issued by Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane disclosed that the conferment of the inestimable award on the former Chief Judge by the Foundation will no doubt spur her further in her resolve to rededicate herself in the service to the state, fatherland and humanity as a whole.

The SSG further stressed that the Awardee who was the former First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria championed human and child rights, prison decongestion, orphanage and general care of the vulnerable in the society among other achievements.

Ahmed Matane expressed optimism that the positive impact in the judiciary of the former Chief Judge will forever remain indelible in the memories of people in the annals of Niger State in particular and Nigeria in general.

He pointed out that the Honours Award by the Foundation has distinguishes her as a hardworking and industrious person whose individual contributions to the overall development of the state and the nation have been profound.

The SSG prayed to God to grant the former First Lady the requisite wisdom to continue to serve her state and the nation diligently.
