The Niger State minister-designate Amb. Zubairu Dada and his Paikoro local government community has apologized to the Party State Working Committee for their failure to inform the state for his earlier plan to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress.
Amb. Dada and his council party Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Kona made this known while they led the community to the All Progressive Congress APC secretariat in Minna yesterday to show their solidarity and explained to the executives on his earlier decamped to the party.
They apologized to the party and registered their absolute loyalty to the constitution and rules of the APC noted that the ministerial designate Amb. Dada joined the party and sponsored some party activities even before the general election in their community.
Dada who identified lack of synergy between all alms of governments hinders the achievement and development of the state and nation hence the need to avoid the mistakes of the past.
He emphasized that he had no personal issues with the state APC Chairman, Engr Mohammed Jibrin Imam assured of his loyalty and respect for authority and will never derail as a lot awaits them of the high expectations of Nigerians from the current administration.
Dada charged for support, understanding and cooperation to succeed assured that he would do his humanly possible best to ensure development of the state and nation so as to justify the confidence reposed on him by the state citizens by not letting them down.
Responding, the APC Chairman, Engr Mohammed Jibrin Imam said that the forum has cleared all the misconceptions and informed the party about his earlier decision which was not communicated to them and put to rest every issues.
Represented by his deputy, Alhaji Aliyu Mohammed Ladan who assured him of every support to succeed and warned him to adhered to party supremacy in his decisions to ensure peace and harmony at all levels.
“We at party level have no grudges against you Amb. Dada but party’s right must be allowed to function accordingly and the supremacy of the party must stand, that is our reason “ he said.
Also, the State Financial Secretary, Ismaila Musa Madibbo told the ministerial designate that the party was right for its decision hence it was not personal and reemphasized on the APC manifestoes to leather noting to have accepted the apology for not transmitting letter to the state office.
