Tunde ‘Styl Plus’ Goes Solo, Signs Up With ‘PEC Records’

Tunde Akinsanmi, the arrow-head of a pop music group, Styl Plus, has parted ways with the band and has gone solo, even as the ace vocalist adopted stage name, ‘Tunde T Dot.’
He announced this decision on Thursday at a news briefing in Abuja. With this decision, Akinsanmi say, he no longer wants to be known and address as Sytl Plus.
The producer, actor cum videographer said, his decision to adopt a new name is to reflect his new thinking.
“The decision to change my stage name was because I needed to get a name that would reflect my new direction as a solo artist in entertainment industry,” the ace musician said.
He also announced that he has series of songs to release and album which will be released in 2019.
“I want to announce that I have series of songs to release and an album insight, which will come up in 2019. But in the meantime, I will be releasing my new singles titles “African Lady,” whose video has already been shot and will be premiered next week.
“Also to let my fans know that I have signed up with ‘PEC Records.’” Akinsanmi said.
Answering questions on why he abandoned the award winning Styl Plus, Tunde said: “I stopped performing with Shifi and Zeal (of Styl Plus) in 2012 over lots of disagreements back then. However, over the years, we have come to terms with our new positions.”
He revealed that the disagreement has become things of the past, insisting that, if need be, he can work with his erstwhile partners on a new terms.
He also announced a changed in his social media handle from @TundeAkinsanmi on twitter to @TundeTDot.
