Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has issued a warning to midfielder, Paul Pogba, ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Juventus on Wednesday night.
Mourinho said Pogba must put his emotion to one side during his first clash with his former club, Juventus at the Allianz Stadium tonight.
Pogba, who left the Old Lady in 2016 to joined United for £89million, makes his first return to Juve in tonight’s Group H Champions League clash.
Mourinho is expecting that Pogba will find it emotional at Turin, but insisted that the France international must follow the example of Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Asked if tonight will be an emotional occasion for Paul Pogba, Mourinho was quoted by Mirror UK as saying: “I imagine yes, in the same way Cristiano was professional – he did his job, fought for his team and gave everything he had to give.
“I can imagine with Paul it’s going to be the same – a little bit of emotion now, I think even at the beginning of the match, yes for sure.
“But then, it’s football and he’s wearing a United shirt with the United crest and he has to fight for it.”
