STAKEHOLDERS IN LAPAI EMIRATE CALLED FOR THE CREATION OF TEACHERS SERVICE COMMISSION

The Emir of Lapai His Royal Highness (Eng) Tafida Umaru Bago, expressed his happiness and support to the Implementation Committee and prayed for the sustenance and continuity of the institute agenda which he promised his Emirate support towards the take-off.

The Chairperson of the implementation committee, Hajiya (Dr) Dije Jibrin Bala, informed the Emir about the Niger state Teachers Professional Development Institute and pleaded for his support and blessing, Dije Bala, asked for the support of other stakeholders and encouraged the youth and teachers to further their studies to enable them cope with future challenges.

Professor Ibrahim Adamu Kolo, member of the implementation committee noted that education is the only way of ensuring the future of the next generation, he called on teachers to have a healthy value re-orientation by attaching importance to the Teaching Profession, he however called for the creation of the Teachers’ Service Commission to address the challenges faced by teachers.
